I love reading your postings. You are doing us a great service by writing your insite on what is going on. Thank you for what you are doing. Hang in there soldier, you will be home on leave before you know it. It has been 3 months, a quarter of the way has passed already. Keep your chin up and stay safe. Hi. I read your blog for the first time today on AJC.com. I linked here and caught up on the happenings at Michael. I have a son at Michael with Troop E 108th Cav out of Griffin (PFC Joe McCain) and one at FOB Joe (PFC Michael McCain) out of the same unit. It is so nice to have some insight into what happens there on a regular basis. Thank you. I look forward to checking back here daily!!

Lauren--I am sure my sons will be happy to know that I demoted them in the above post!! They are actually SPCs (and have been for a while). When half your mind is in Iraq the other half doesn't seem to work well!!
